Synopsis:
Road comedy in which two friends leave their isolated, depopulated island home off the east coast of China and set off on an adventurous road trip across the country, a bittersweet journey, both funny and sad. On their trip westward across China, the two friends encounter a variety of people and experiences that test their understanding of friendship, kinship, society and love, transforming their lives in unexpected ways and offering each of them the opportunity to reflect on their personal identity and destiny.
