Synopsis:
Television reporter April O'Neil reports epidemic of "silent" crimes - acts of thievery in which the victims never hear or see the thieves - is escalating in New York City. During her investigation Apirl stumbles on a crime in progress. The street lights go out. There are sounds of struggle. Shadow figures lock in combat in the darkness. When the police arrive they find her dazed but unharmed with her assailants neatly tied up around her.
