Synopsis: 
Straight from Cannes, Kim Jee-woon’s latest feature is a deliriously funny and clever film about a director (also named Kim) obsessed with re-shooting the end of his completed film to make it into a masterpiece. However, the film studio has no appetite whatsoever, the censors would not approve of an unauthorised script, and the actors are unwilling to come back to the set. Using all his powers of persuasion, Kim gathers the reluctant cast and crew and begins his reshoot, only quickly descends into chaos. Revered for his brilliant action films, director Kim Jee-woon here takes a deeply satisfying swerve into comedy, creating a virtuoso portrayal of the torment involved in filmmaking.
