Synopsis: 
No superheroes to save the world. When unleashed zombies wander the town in their cannibalistic frenzies, two pokerfaced cops resist with sad stoicism to “kill the head” – with the help of a samurai mortician wielding her sword. An obvious nod to George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead (1968), Jim Jarmusch’s hipster walking-dead comedy is filled with an array of amazing characters and a starry cast – an end-of-the-world party that decapitates the political ghouls beneath the surface of the lyrical and bewitching comedic invention.

喪屍不死，昂然殺入康城為影展揭幕。話說小鎮異象頻生，原來是地球軸心偏移引致屍體破墳而出，生吃活人。警察標梅利及亞當戴華冷面抗喪屍，殯儀館館主蒂達史雲頓武士刀一揮，「殺佢個頭」乾脆俐落。向喪屍片之父佐治羅美路致敬，占渣木殊大玩冷雋黑色幽默，《活死人之夜》（1968）裏「死人尋舊路」的戲謔，更玩到自己頭上。一眾老拍檔再加潮人Chloë Sevigny及小天后Selena Gomez，以嚇死人卡士開個喪屍大派對。借野人Tom Waits批判人性醜惡與資本主義，明刀明槍，鮮血淋漓。
